Happy Lantern Festival and Happy Holilhlights
It’s 2nd, March 2018 today.And it’s the 15th day of the first lunar month in China.
The Lantern Festival or the Spring Lantern Festival is a Chinese festival celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar Chinese calendar.Usually falling in February or early March on the Gregorian calendar, It marks the final day of the traditional Chinese New Year celebrations.
We call it Lantern Festival.Happy Lantern Festival.
And It’s Holi holiday in India.
Holi is considered as one of the most revered and celebrated festivals of India and it is celebrated in almost every part of the country.It is also sometimes called as the “festival of love” as on this day people get to unite together forgetting all resentments and all types of bad feeling towards each other.
The great Indian festival lasts for a day and a night, which starts on the evening of Purnima or the Full Moon Day in the month of Falgun.It is celebrated with the name Holika Dahan or Choti Holi on the first evening of the festival and the following day is called Holi.
