Basic product knowledge

1. What is CRI?

A: CRI(Color Rendering Index) is a measure of how accurately an LED light source or any artificial light source reveals an object’s true colors. The higher the CRI, the better the artificial light source is at rendering colors accurately.

2. What is Color temperature?

A: We also call CCT(Correlated color temperature), an important aspect of LED lighting, characterizes how “cool”(bluish) or how “warm”(yellowish) nominally white light appears. CCT of a light source, given in Kelvin(K), defines the color tones of the emitted white light and is not an indicator of lamp heat. The chart below shows a range of CCT.

3. What is IP65、IP67、IP68？

A: IP is an acronym “Ingress Protection”. It is a measurement of the protection an item will have against solid objects (dust, sand, dirt, etc.) and liquids.
An IP rating is comprised of 2 numbers. The first number refers to the protection against solid objects (dust, etc) and the second number refers to protection against liquids.
